In a statement issued in Kaduna by Prof. Tanko Muhammad-Baba, the ACF’s National Publicity Secretary, the forum expressed deep concerns over the tragic loss of lives, destruction of property, and disruption of livelihoods across several communities. “These floods have caused catastrophic damage to many areas, coming at a time when Nigerians are already struggling with significant economic challenges, including inflation, insecurity, and food shortages. “The floods have only worsened the situation,” the ACF said.
